Beyonce and Jay Z, rumors are swirling even faster now that your marriage is crumbling. If this is true, it’s time to forget that you’re a billion-dollar brand, and remember that you’re a real-life couple with a family that’s worth saving!
Beyonce and Jay Z, let me ask you this: Do you think that your little daughter, Blue Ivy, 2, cares how much money is in your respective bank accounts? Do you honestly think that Blue Ivy cares that you’re “a brand?” And that you have a boatload of fans? I don’t think so. But I do think she cares very much that the two people whom she loves most in the world — her mommy and daddy — are with her, and that they will cherish her and give her love and security — together.
Beyonce & Jay Z Marriage Issues: Forget You’re Huge Stars And Work On Problems
It seems to me, Beyonce, 32, and Jay Z, 44, that if you’re truly having serious marriage problems — so serious, according to Page Six, that you’re already living separately — then you need to get into marriage counseling pronto and start to work as intently on your personal issues, as you do on your careers.
Here you are in the midst of a huge On The Run joint tour, and according to Page Six‘s new report, you’re not just staying in separate rooms, but in entirely separate hotels.
“They arrive separately to each show,” an insider told Page Six, which is also claiming that the situation is so tense that the rest of the tour could be canceled any day. Plus, Page Six has also reported that tour promoters and HBO, which is filming a TV special on the tour, convened an emergency meeting to draw up contingency PR plans.
Beyonce and Jay Z, I hope that all of this isn’t true, but it does seem likely, based on all the rumors, that you are having some issues, like many married couples. And whether your marital problems are divorce-worthy or simply the result of normal stresses and pressures, you need to address them, just as if you were a “normal” couple.
Unfortunately, great fame and wealth can make it easier to run away from problems. You are so rich that you can each afford to hire an entourage of assistants and business associates who can come between you. You can afford to stay in separate hotels, buy an extra $20-million NYC apartment (Beyonce, you were reportedly looking at one last week), and quite easily live separate lives.
Realistically, most married couples simply can’t afford to do this when they run into the inevitable problems that almost every marriage suffers from at some point. Yes, married couples do have bumps in their relationship. Bumps that they must overcome in many cases, for both the sake of their children and/or their finances.
The funny thing about not being billionaires, or even millionaires, is that it can force people to actually work out their problems, because they can’t simply go and stay in separate hotels or even separate hotel rooms. They have to stay in the same place. They can’t run away from each other.
Beyonce & Jay Z: Remember That You’re A Family Above All Else
That’s why you two need to get your feet back on earth and remember that at the end of the day, you’re not just huge stars with millions of fans, tons of famous friends and a billion dollars between you. Stop being impressed by superficial personas.
Instead, try to remember who you are as people, why you fell in love, why you married each other, and who is the most important thing in the world to you — Blue Ivy.
Above all else, you are a family. A husband, a wife, a father and a mother — that’s all that matters.
If you’re dealing with serious issues like cheating or controlling behavior, then you need to talk together with a good counselor. And talk a lot. See if honest communicating can help you two reconnect and get your love back on track.
Lot’s of “normal,” “ordinary” couples do it. They save their marriages. You can too!
Do you agree, HollywoodLifers? Do you think Jay Z and Beyonce can save their marriage if they forget that they’re stars and just focus on being real? Let me know.
