McKayla Maroney: Olympic Gymnast Puts Twist On Pitch At White Sox Game

McKayla can never strike out of anything, including a baseball pitch!

When the 18-year-old stepped up to the pitcher’s mound on Aug. 2 at the Chicago White Sox-Minnesota Twins game, she was going to throw a pitch no one had ever seen before.

She kicked up her leg gracefully, cartwheeled and then front flipped her before she threw the pitch! So cool!

The pitch was so cute and a perfect twist on a pretty easy task. After attending the game, McKayla tweeted, “loved meeting all my fans today !! thanks for coming out… hope you all had an amazing day xx”

McKayla is best known for being a member of the 2012 U.S. Women’s gymnastics team at the Summer Olympics. She was catapulted into meme royalty with her “not impressed” face at the awards ceremony. She is currently training for the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Well, everyone has to be impressed with McKayla’s pitch! It’s quite the signature throw!

HollywoodLifers, what did you think of McKayla’s first pitch? Love  it or hate it?
