Nick Jonas has come a long way from his boy band days! After releasing the super sexy video for his brand new song, ‘Chains,’ he is showing off his body again, this time in the trailer for his new show, ‘Kingdom.’
Nick Jonas, 21, is all grown up and totally ready to shed his Disney image. Looking super in shape, the budding actor is ready to tackle his role in DirecTV‘s new show, Kingdom! Watch the intense trailer and see plenty of Nick shirtless!
Nick Jonas Kingdom Trailer
Kingdom is all about a family who owns a Mixed Martial Arts gym in Venice, California. The show stars Warrior actor, Frank Grillo, who is the owner of the gym. Jonathan Tucker plays the part of Frank’s son and Nick’s older brother. In the trailer he seems to have a bit of a dark role and we are sure that he will be adding plenty of drama to this family.
Nick plays Frank’s younger son, who is a prize-winning fighter. The trailer shows plenty of shirtless shots of Nick showing off his new amazing moves!
This amazing cast also features Friday Night Lights alum, and fan favorite, Matt Lauria. Matt’s character is on parole, and will certainly shake things up since it seems like he has a past with Frank’s wife, played by Kiele Sanchez.
Based on the trailer we cannot wait to watch this show. Nick looks so intense — and props to his beefed up body! Kingdom premieres on October 8 at 9 p.m. on DirecTV.
Nick’s New Song ‘Chains’
The Jonas Brothers broke up in November 2013, canceling their highly anticipated tour. Nick had confronted his brother, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas about the direction that he wanted to take the group. Apparently their visions did not match up, and they split.
Now, Nick is making a total comeback. Not only is he going to be in Kingdom, but he is working on his new solo album and as we previously reported, he dropped the first single, Chains, where he is looking extra sexy.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, his new song is all about his brothers, and is chock full of some not so subtle disses.
According to Page Six, “Chains” is a metaphor for how Nick has been feeling the last few years. “Nick has spent years experiencing a burden that’s hard to explain. He’s not blaming anyone for it; it’s just what fame does to people, especially at a young age.”
Hopefully, Nick’s star will continue to rise! We cannot wait to hear his new album, we are sure that it is going to be amazing!
