Stars immediately took to Twitter, July 30, to take sides: Team Bieber or Team Orlando. But it wasn’t just about slamming Justin, his good pal, Cody Simpson defended him and said he’s a young guy who does ‘a lot of good.’ HollywoodLifers, whose team are you on?
It’s the ultimate Hollywood matchup and now some of the biggest names in Hollywood are weighing in. When the video of Orlando Bloom, taking a swing at Justin Bieber hit TMZ, fans and celebs immediately took a stance. There were a ton of negative tweets about Justin, from the likes of Alyssa Milano, and Stephan Amell but Cody Simpson came to bat for the Biebs.
Justin Bieber & Orlando Bloom Fight — Stars Take Sides
After the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in November 2012, there were rumors that Orlando’s wife, Miranda Kerr, hooked up with Justin. There was reported bad blood between Orlando, 37, and Justin, 20, but it didn’t officially surface until the two ran into each other at Cipriani restaurant in Ibiza on July 30.
Orlando apparently threw not one but TWO punches at Justin, former Spanish journalist Anastasia Skolkova tells The Mirror — and multiple celebs cheered him on as he took the swings, including Leonardo DiCaprio and Lindsay Lohan.
‘When Orlando punched Bieber, everyone started clapping,” the eyewitness reveals. “Lindsay was laughing. It was amazing. The whole table he and DiCaprio were on were clapping. Afterwards, I don’t know if people were congratulating Orlando or trying to calm him down.”
After their shocking fight video leaked and made international headlines, Justin fueled the fire with two Instagram posts. Justin’s first pic was a sexy photo of Miranda, which he deleted and then he posted a photo of Orlando crying. Once the gloves officially came off, stars took sides and it wasn’t pretty.

Orlando Bloom didn’t try to punch Bieber. It looks like he tried to flick him in the head. That’s way, WAY better.

Even his Lord Of The Rings co-star, Dominic Monaghan, came to Orlando’s defense:

Cody Simpson Defends Justin
When speaking to Australia’s The Morning Show, Cody defended his good pal, who he had just hung out with at the Young Hollywood Awards in LA.
“Obviously we’re all young and he gets himself into some stuff sometimes,” he said. “He’s a person I’d go to for everything. He’s like a big brother. He has the world in his hands as he does a lot of good as well. I’ve got all good things to say.”
