Drew, 37, and Jessica’s half brother, John, is insisting she did not take her own life.“It looks like it was a drug misadventure. Mixing alcohol and pills. I seriously doubt she took her own life,” John told the Daily News. How tragic. John went to to describe what substances were found in her car. “There were some empty vodka bottles, a couple bags of meth and a variety of pills in the car. My guess is that it was the booze and pills, like with Heath Ledger,” he added, referring to the actor’s overdose on prescription pills in 2008. John revealed that Jessica visited her sick mother the day before her body was found. He said it was “hard for her to see [her mom],” but insists she didn’t kill herself as a result.

“Although I only met her briefly, I wish her and her loved ones as much peace as possible and I’m so incredibly sorry for their loss,” Drew said in a statement shortly after her Jessica’s death. John confirmed to the Daily News that the three half-siblings really didn’t know each other. They had only met once, back in 2004, to scatter their father’s ashes.
