Inside The Latest ‘Hercules’ Remake Starring ‘The Rock’

This ancient tale has been told too many times to count, but it looks like this take on it is a real keeper!

This movie is loosely based on the graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars. In that story, Hercules has just completed his Twelve Labors. He wants to take an early retirement, but will have one last heroic moment. He’s called upon by Princess Ergenia (played by Rebecca Ferguson) of Thrace to protect her father, King Cotys (played by John Hurt), and the rest of their kingdom against the evil sorcerer Rhesus (played by Tobias Santelmann).

The film is has been compared to the last major Hercules-based flick, The Legend Of Hercules. That movie starred Kellan Lutz, but The Rock’s version has gotten WAY better reviews!

Have YOU seen Hercules yet, HollywoodLifers? If so, do you agree with the critics? Do you want to see the movie! Tell us everything!
