We saw Marcus fall head over heels in love with Andi on season 10 of ‘The Bachelorette,’ but apparently, he’s gotten over the break up pretty fast. What better way to do so than go on ‘Bachelor in Paradise?’
Don’t cry for Marcus Grodd, ladies — maybe just that he’s officially taken. As you saw on Men Tell All July 21, the 26-year-old admitted that he was so in love with Andi Dorfman before she sent him home. However, it looks like he’s moved on and actually found true love. We’ll see him propose on the finale of Bachelor in Paradise. SPOILERS AHEAD!
Marcus Grodd Gets Engaged To Lacy Faddoul On ‘Bachelor In Paradise’
Yes, you read that right — Marcus proposes to Nursing Home Owner, Lacy Faddoul, a cast-off from Juan Pablo‘s season (he really likes JP’s exes, eh?). RealitySteve.com reports that Lacy and Marcus are one of two couples to end the season together, along with Michelle Money and Cody Sattler.
The way Bachelor in Paradise works is a little different — 14 contestants ( (eight women and six men) arrive in Tulum, Mexico and the men will hand out roses immediately to the woman they want to meet. Two will not get roses and sent home.
Every episode afterward welcomes two new alum, alternating between men and women. There isn’t a winner at the end, unless you count the two people who won the love of others. Yeah, I went there.
So, is Marcus really engaged? Well, Lacy posted a pic on her Instagram of a baby going through her phone on July 6, and captioned it, “Checking aunties social media📱(really reading aunties text from her special someone) 💌#auntiesbadhabits #mylittlepublicist.” So, we know she has a “special someone.”
However, it was a little strange that on Bachelorette and Men Tell All, he went on and on about how Andi was “the one.” Well, as they say, YOPO. Yes, they say that and yes, it stands for “You Only Paradise Once.”
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Are you shocked about the engagement? Do you think Marcus and Lacy will last? Let us know!
