So sad. This Dutch father blames Russia’s president for the death of his loved ones. In an emotionally charged letter to the president that has been published online, the father reveals his hatred towards the man in an emotional letter he published online on July 20.
Dutch father Hans de Borst lost his beautiful 17-year-old daughter, Elsemiek de Borst, on the MH17 airplane that was allegedly shot down over eastern Ukraine by a surface-to-air missile. The girl’s mother, stepfather and stepbrother were also killed in the tragedy — how devastating. The father wrote a letter online expressing his daughters accomplishments and potential in life, however, the letter targeted Vladimir Putin directly, as well as pro-Kremlin rebels in eastern Ukraine.
MH17 Dad Who Lost Only Daughter Begs Putin To Send Her Body Home
Elsemiek was traveling to Malaysia with her mother, stepfather, and stepbrother for a family vacation when the MH17 was allegedly shot down from the sky.
The crash killed all 298 innocent passengers and crew — including 80 children and babies. This international tragedy is heartbreaking, especially for the family and friends of the victims who were killed.
In an emotionally charged letter to Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin, from Elsemiek’s father, Hans, he spoke of his daughter’s beautiful life — and the goals she had set, but will never accomplish.
Editor’s Note: The letter below has been translated to English.
Many thanks to the Separatist leaders of the Ukrainian government!
For the murder of my dear and only child, Elsemiek!
She was 17 years old, 5 year high school student at the college Segbroek in The Hague and on the way to vacation in Malaysia, along with her brother, mother (my ex-wife) and stepfather.
Elsemiek would next year take her final exam, along with her best friends Julia and Marina and did well in school! She then wanted to TU Delft to study engineering, she was looking forward to it!
She is suddenly no more! From the air shot in a foreign country where war is going on!
Men above, I hope you’re proud to have, including her young life shot upside down and you can look in the mirror tomorrow relaxed.
I hope you find this message may be translated into English (what you like intelligent men can read well) will be able to read soon!
Elsemieks father Hans Breast in Monster, whose life is ruined!
Ps Mr. Putin: I hope your intense conversation with our polder Prime Minister Rutte opened your eyes! I know you’re impressed with this and would find it tough on you if you would take guard so NL experts can figure out everything! Closely the disaster with Russian military initiative Thanks in advance
Writing this letter must have been very difficult for Hans. However, he is very brave for expressing himself and letting president Putin know the devastation that the victims families are feeling every single day since July 17.
Families are very concerned about getting the victim’s families back from Russia. Photos have shown hundreds of body bags lined along a road near the crash site, but reports claim that the political unrest in Russia is keeping the bodies from being released internationally.
There are also some horrific reports that bodies have gone missing from the crash site, as well as pieces of debris from the plane itself because looters have had access to the area.
Hopefully, the bodies will make their way out of Russia as soon as possible so that the victims families can make proper memorial and funeral arrangements. It is extremely unfair that these poor people have already had to wait for four days while they so desperately need to mourn and say goodbye properly.
Our thoughts remain with Hans, as well as all of the other friends and family of the MH17 victims.
