Everyone thinks that when you’re pregnant, you just want to lay around and eat for two. But guess what? That is a myth!
The truth is, it is totally possible to keep in shape while pregnant. The best part? Not only will you be keeping off unnecessary extra weight, but it’s been proven that pregnant women who keep in shape have more energy and have an easier delivery!
In fact, that’s one of the main reasons why Snooki decided to keep up with her training while carrying her second baby, a girl due in fall 2014.
“I’m excited to see if working out really helps with labor, because I refuse to be in labor again for 27 hours!” Snooki wrote in a blog shortly after revealing her second pregnancy.
Even though the trend of working out while pregnant seems like the hot new thing now, the truth is that Kim Kardashian was doing it back in 2013 while she was carrying little North!
Kim worked with her beloved trainer, Tracy Anderson, to keep in shape using different methods, including muscular structure and dance routines.
While Ciara was carrying her baby boy, Future Jr., she was a huge fan of cardio. The singer often shared Instagram photos and videos of herself in the gym, using machines that helped her keep extra weight off while still maintaining her muscle tone.
Another star who was a fan of cardio while pregnant was actress Olivia Wilde. A few months into her pregnancy, the mommy-to-be was still attending Soul Cycle classes — baby bump and all!
Much like Mila Kunis, who is due in the fall of 2014, Olivia also frequently attended pilates classes to keep her muscles in check while pregnant with baby Otis.
