Iggy Azalea & Nick Young Dissed By Drake At The ESPY Awards

Oh no! During one of Drake’s skits while hosting the 2014 ESPYs, he totally dissed Iggy Azalea and Nick Young! Was Drake just being funny or did he go too far?

When you’re hosting a big awards show like the ESPYs, you have to pick and choose who you’re going to target in your skits. Drake, 27, decided to take aim at Iggy Azalea, 24, and Nick Young, 29, while singing his original song “Honorable Mention.” He dissed them by saying they are a “poor man’s Jay and B!” Was it just a harmless joke or did Drake take things a little too far?

Iggy Azalea & Nick Young Dissed By Drake At The ESPY Awards

Diss alert! ESPY Awards host Drake targeted one of music and sport’s hottest couples — Iggy Azalea and Nick Young — during his performance of his hilarious original song “Honorable Mention.”

“Iggy Azalea and Swaggy P — I love you both, you’re like a poor man’s Jay and B, you know what I’m saying?” Drake said during his performance.

Whoa. So Drake is equating Iggy and Nick as a lesser version of Jay Z and Beyonce? That’s not very nice!

While Drake dissed other stars like Colin Kaepernick and Macklemore, the Iggy and Nick diss was definitely a little personal. Do you think Nick and Iggy were totally offended or do you think they just took the diss in stride?

ESPY Awards: Best Moments From The Show

The 2014 ESPY Awards was a fun-filled night of honoring the best names in the sports. Beloved sportscaster Stuart Scott was awarded the Jimmy V Perseverance Award and openly gay NFL player Michael Sam received the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.

Drake also performed a hilarious and shocking skit with on-again-off-again enemy Chris Brown. It was also pretty memorable watching Maria Sharapova tower over Floyd Mayweather.

We knew Drake would be dissing some of sport’s biggest athletes, we just never expected him to be so harsh toward Iggy and Nick!

HollywoodLifers, what do you think about the Drake diss toward Iggy and Nick? Funny or too far? Let us know!

Drake did a great job hosting Espy awards. I thought he was funny. I loved the “Side Piece” song.

He did this on purpose. Nickis been his longtime crush and close friend. Nick Young just came out talking about Nicki Minaj is jealous of Iggys success. So it’s Youngs fault! Don’t stick your nose in women’s business and maybe Drake wouldn’t have to come for your neck. The end.

Every couple is a ‘poor man’s version’ of Jay and B. Being compared to the in anyway is a compliment.

He thinks he can make a joke about anyone or anything just because he’s the new hip hop king but he’s a cornball. How about we made a joke about his ugly face and how he’s gonna get herpes from his thots. Stupid jerk.

Iggy is trash, who cares? She kills me with that blackcent! Ignorance made her famous. All of you bopping around listening to this chicks remake of “Jam On It” in blackface should be ashamed of yourselves.

Umm.. I idolize Iggy so can you try not to be so hurtful? Why should I be ashamed? You’re the one that should be ashamed making fans of Iggy’s feel so low. She is an amazing rapper. Her voice is different and unique. I think you’re just jealous and you’re annoyed you can’t be like her so you diss her! “There’s a million you’s baby boo so don’t be dumb, I got ninety-nine problems but you won’t be one.”-Ariana Grande feat Iggy Azalea “Problem”

Drake disses people and pretends it’s a joke. Drake just isn’t funny, he’s not cool but a poser. He starts the most lame feuds trying to fit in, but he’s just a phony from a Canadian teen sitcom. He’ll never have street cared so he should just shut up. He makes a fool out of himself.
