Desperate Shoppers Smash Car Windows To Rescue Hot Screaming Children — Video

Thanks to a group of heroic shoppers, yet another hot car tragedy was narrowly averted in Texas. Using a hammer, the group smashed open a window to rescue two children from a sealed Jeep– where their mother had left them while getting a haircut.

A Texas mother risked her children’s lives when she left them inside her car in 90 degree heat on Monday afternoon, July 14. When a passerby heard the children crying from inside the car, he recruited the help of others to break open a back window and pull the children from the vehicle before it was too late. Desperate Shoppers Save 2 Children From Hot Car In Texas Parking Lot — Video

Sadly, despite the high-profile Justin Ross Harris case, parents still think it’s okay to leave their children in an unattended vehicle during incredibly hot summer weather. Not that children should EVER be left unattended inside a vehicle — or anywhere, for that matter.

In this case, the irresponsible mother left her two children inside of a sealed vehicle without air conditioning in Katy, Texas. The car was parked just outside of the hair salon where she was getting a haircut.

Fortunately, the passerby who heard the youngsters crying quickly managed to locate a hammer and used it to break open a back window of the Jeep. Multiple witnesses tried to open the doors, but unfortunately the mother had locked the vehicle before heading into the salon, leaving the two small children trapped inside.

Once the window was broken open, a female good samaritan could climbed in through the window and rescue the two children.

The entire ordeal was caught on camera by a shop owner, who told local television station KHOU that the group of people who saved the children feared the little ones would swelter to death it not removed from the hot Jeep immediately.

The police were not called because the mother begged witnesses to forgive her for making a “terrible” mistake. Thankfully, her children were removed from the hot Jeep completely unharmed.

This woman did NOT LEAVE HER KIDS IN THE CAR. She accidentally locked them inside after she loaded them and her groceries in, so she kept rushing back and forward TO A POST OFFICE, NOT THE NEARBY BEAUTY SALON, to get them out.

911 was called but they told her to break the window so she did.

“Once the window was broken open, a female good samaritan could climbed in through the window and rescue the two children.”

That was her! She was the woman who climbed in to get them out.

Police are not they answer then. They are not the answer now. Religious people thought a policeman was the answer arresting Jesus. He was called the servant of the high priest.

The police will get involved now that they have video of it as the license can be seen. The police will be in contact with her as will child services being that the children’s welfare was at risk. All her pleading for nothing as they not only shot the video they also put it in the news. The stupid woman has to learn her lesson as stories of kids dying everyday is in the news. This woman probably did not learn her lesson and needs a talking to from authorities.

The mother would have to be living under a rock not to know all the dangers of leaving a child and not just when it’s hot outside. But, especially now when the information about leaving kids in hot cars is all over the media.

I don’t know her. That’s true. But, I don’t have to know her to know she’s an unfit mother. Period. She’s probably done it before and will do it again. The cops should have been called.

Why is it that some people will roll down the window in hot weather for their beloved pets, but wont think twice about the safety of their own kids? What would have been the harm in the children entering the air conditioned salon with their mother? I believe an investigation should at least be done regarding the future welfare of these kids. This maynt have been the first time this woman has done this. Kids of every race, culture, background deserve to be protected.

Calling the police is what I would have done while smashing the window.
