Khloe — it couldn’t have been more heartbreaking to watch you admit on ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ that Lamar cheated on you, even on your 29th birthday. And now your loving new Instagram message reveals that you’re still thinking about him. But you know what, Khloe — you’ve got to let go.
Khloe Kardashian — you’ve just proved once again that even though you are determined to divorce Lamar Odom, you still have not lost your feelings for your estranged husband. Early on the morning of July 15, you posted this heartfelt message on Instagram: “I would surrender my being to see you whole once more.”
Khloe Kardashian: Let Lamar Odom Go — It’s Time To Move On From Ex For Good
Khloe — it can’t be a coincidence that you sent out this sweet saying just hours after the announcement that the New York Knicks would be waiving their contract with Lamar. In other words, Lamar will no longer be playing for the NBA team.
Even though you and Lamar are estranged and don’t talk much anymore, you knew how devastating this news would be to the man that you clearly still love. Lamar has been working hard to pull himself back together, emotionally and physically, after his downward spiral into all kinds of issues, which also led to the demise of your marriage.
Well, Khloe, it just goes to show how deeply you gave your heart to Lamar and how committed you were to your marriage when you said your vows nearly five years ago. Even though Lamar cheated on you and disappeared for long periods of time, and was partying hard, you still see the beauty in your Lam Lam’s soul. You haven’t given up on the man that he was and could be again.
As your message says, you’re still willing to give your all to see him “whole again.” But guess what, Khloe, as selfless as you are, there comes a point when it is absolutely in your best interests — for your own future, and your own emotional and mental health — to leave Lamar behind.
You tried so hard and for so long to get him help. And as the new season of KUWTK reveals, you kept so much of your agony to yourself. It’s incredible that you carried that pain alone, with only your brother Rob Kardashian sharing some of your emotional burden.
Now your family and your fans are getting a real sense of what you went through with Lamar on the new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. In last Sunday’s July 13 episode, you finally screamed to sister Kourtney Kardashian that you had been hiding so much to cover for Lamar and protect him. You revealed that you even spent your 29th birthday alone while Lamar was with another woman. “I lied to everyone because I had to lie and say I was with my husband, when my husband was missing with another girl, OK?”
Khloe Kardashian — Let Go Of Lamar & Find Love Again
Khloe, I don’t know how you went through all that. It must have been torture. And now you’ve come so far, and you’re finally living and having fun again. You’re in a new romance with French Montana, in which you’re being treated like you deserve — like a princess. French is showering you with love and affection, and he made sure to put together a beautiful birthday party for you, complete with all of your favorite things, including red velvet cake. Not only that, but he also bought you the $49,000 Jeep of your dreams, which he knew you wanted!
Khloe, it’s not important that he’s spending money on you. What is important is that French is thinking about you and trying to do the affectionate, loving things that a man who cares about you should do. Khloe, I know you want to have children one day, and that you’d like to have a warm, tightly-knit family of your own. And that of course includes a husband whose love you can trust. But you can only have that kind of love again in the future if you finally let go of the stranglehold that Lamar still has on your heart.
Lamar has to take responsibility for his own life — he’s an adult. It’s not fair of him to try to hold on to you, but you also need to give yourself a break. So Khloe, let him go.
Do you agree, HollywoodLifers? Should Khloe move on from Lamar? Let me know.
