We’ve been looking forward to overnight dates the entire season, but for Andi, it seemed like it was more stressful than ever — so much so she admitted her heart and her head couldn’t match up!
Fantasy Suite dates on The Bachelorette were full of everything you’d expect — steamy makeouts, a ton of tears and a seriously heartbroken guy. Except this time, Andi Dorfman didn’t bring all three final men into the fantasy suite, and sent one home before they even got there.
‘Bachelorette’ Fantasy Suites: Do You Accept This Key?
Andi said it herself, right off the bat — when she had her one-on-one with Juan Pablo Galavis, everything changed. So of course it took a little bit of time to get that memory of him picking at her eyebrows.
First up we had Nick and Andi’s overnight, where the spent the day at the beach (in matching swimwear), when he finally let Andi know how he felt. We’ll give it to you much quicker than him: He’s falling in love with her, and he’s scared. It was kind of cute, though. He let her know through a storybook, and she enjoyed the empty pages at the end more than the book, which we’ve got to say — was a great idea, and a great way into the suite.
Just have to point it out that he said he couldn’t wait to go into the suite to talk all night, then he grabbed her butt, and went inside and started making out. So, I’m calling your bluff, Nick.
Andi & Josh Play Baseball . . . Again
Next up, Andi and Josh went on a date at a baseball game, and he had no problem saying “I love you” right away. Then they made out, of course. Not going to lie, it definitely came off very normal and natural, so I was impressed! However, during dinner, Andi once again couldn’t accept that Josh was just happy and perfect for her — “too good to be true,” in her mind. Regardless, into the fantasy suite they went.
Yes, that means what you think. Grab your Kleenex.
Last up we had Chris, who took Andi on a horseback ride which she was terrified for her life. However, she seemed to have a good time and they played another game of ghost in the graveyard, which I think may have led Andi to realize that their connection wasn’t as intense as she had with the other two.
Fantasy Suite = Heartbreak Hotel
This may have been the toughest scene to ever watch, as Chris was so in love her all along and definitely wanted to show her that. Unfortunately, she didn’t feel like she had the future with him that she could have with both Nick and Josh. She sent him home and he stayed a gentleman to the last second, even kissing her hand while leaving.
It was definitely a sad elimination but the murmur is that he’s the next Bachelor. Is that what you want, HollywoodLifers? Do you think she should have sent him home? Should he have won? Let me know what you’re thinking!
