Nicola Peltz’s Hair At ‘Affluenza’ Premiere — New York City Stunning
Nicola has shown that she is in no way living in the shadow of her billionaire dad. With her roles in Bates Motel and Transformers: Age Of Extinction, the young actress has proved herself to be a talent in her own right!
Her most recent movie, Affluenza, premiered in NYC on July 9 and her talent was definitely on display! But, while we thought she was amazing in the flick, we could not stop looking at her soft blonde locks on the red carpet!
In fact, we loved them so much that we talked to her hairstylist Adir Abergel to get the scoop on how to get her exact look!
How To Get Nicola Peltz’s Exact Soft Look
Nicola’s style is perfect for a day or nighttime look and, thanks to Adir, we have all the steps for you to grab this soft look.
“First start out by prepping the hair with Leonor Greyl Condition Naturelle from roots to ends on towel dried hair to protect hair from heat and to create extra volume.”
“Then, to make extra height stay all night, add Mousse au Lotus Volumatrice at the roots before blow drying the hair smooth with a round brush.” Adir “made sure to create a deep side part to give it a more modern vibe.” The stylist recommends putting your side part at the highest arch of your brow for a perfect look!
Blow dry a section of your hair, then wrap it around a medium sized Velcro roller. Keep doing this until your head is covered in rollers!
Then Adir recommends letting the rollers cool down before removing them, “and make sure you accentuate the deep side parting. This will give it the more mod look.”
“Then, take the crown area and tease the hair making sure you get that Bridget Bardot bump at the crown. Lock the height with Leonor Greyl Laque Souple and then pull the opposite side of the hair (the side that doesn’t have the deep part) back off the face.” This will give you that killer half updo look that Nicola is rocking!
“To finish the look, take a few random pieces around the front with a large curling iron and break up the texture by creating a soft wave. Follow it by spraying some Laque Souple for all night hold.”
How To Get Nicola Peltz’s Makeup At ‘Affluenza’ Premiere
While Nicola’s hair was definitely flawless, no hairdo is complete without the perfect makeup look! We spoke with makeup artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua to learn more about Nicola’s beautiful natural makeup!
“Face: The skin was first prepped with CHANEL Hydra Beauty Essence Mist. I then applied a small amount of CHANEL Hydra Beauty Serum.
Foundation: I used a small amount of CHANEL Perfection Lumière Velvet Smooth-Effect Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Sunscreen in Beige 30 on her face to even out the skintone and then CHANEL Eclat Lumiere Highlighter Face Pen in 10 Beige Clair under the eyes. CHANEL Natural Finish Pressed Powder in Naturel was used to set the look.
Cheeks: Using CHANEL Foundation Brush # 6 with Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronzing Makeup Base I contoured her cheek structure and bring a bronzed look to the cheeks.
Eyes: I created a graphic cat-eye shape with CHANEL Long-Lasting Eyeliner in Santal on the whole lid up to the crease and then used the deepest shade from the CHANEL Quadra Eyeshadow in Tissé Rivoli to set and create a satin finish over the liner. The lightest shade from the Quad was swept across the brow bone to give it a beautiful highlight. I also used the same shade on the inner eye near the tear duct to really open up the eye. The medium shimmery taupe shade was blended into the lower lash line for definition, and the lighter medium beige shade from the Quad was used to softly countour the area above the eye crease.
Mascara: The lashes were curled and given a coat of CHANEL Inimitable Intense Mascara in Noir.
Lips: On the lips, I used CHANEL Precision Lip Definer in Beige Satin for a gorgeous, natural look.”
