In a new op-ed, Sarah Palin is calling for President Obama’s impeachment over the supposed border crisis, claiming that there are too many immigrants taking American jobs. Meanwhile, she compares the American nation to a ‘battered wife’ who has had enough. Lovely.
Sarah Palin is back in the news, to the mixed delight and horror of Americans everywhere. Her name first cropped up once again when she claimed that she’d love to join The View as their resident Republican voice, and now because of her incendiary op-ed which calls for President Barack Obama‘s impeachment over the border crisis — and it gets a little racial.
Sarah Palin Wants To Impeach Obama Following Reports Of A Border Crisis
“Enough is enough of the years of abuse from this president,” Sarah wrote in her op-ed on Breitbart. “His unsecured border crisis is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, ‘no mas.'” Whoops — had to go racial on that one, huh, Sarah?
Many on the far right are calling for Obama’s impeachment following a report that there are no agents securing the U.S./Mexico border, but their demand is a little far-fetched considering the Democratic control over the Senate. Furthermore, the report comes from a man who has supposedly been placed under a gag order.
Sarah’s op-ed is pretty extreme — she claims that Obama’s goal is to open our borders entirely in an attempt to take jobs away from Americans, essentially as some sort of diabolical plot.
Sarah Palin: ‘Without Borders, There Is No Nation’
“Without borders, there is no nation. Obama knows this,” she writes. “Opening our borders to a flood of illegal immigrants is deliberate. This is his fundamental transformation of America. It’s the only promise he has kept.
“It’s time to impeach; and on behalf of American workers and legal immigrants of all backgrounds, we should vehemently oppose any politician on the left or right who would hesitate in voting for articles of impeachment.”
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Are Sarah’s claims valid? Or, like saying that waterboarding is how America “baptizes terrorists,” is she just trying to get her name in the news? Let us know.
