Comedian Joan Rivers has had enough of the negative comments from fans, and especially from Fredricka Whitfield. Joan walked off screen during a recent televised interview with the CNN anchor, and David Letterman thought it would be a perfect opportunity to bring Joan on the show and mock the comedian for her outburst! Check out what David did to Joan below!

Comedian and author Joan Rivers, 81, fired back at anchor CNN Fredricka Whitfield after she made negative comments about the comedian’s humor in a recent interview.  Late Show host David Letterman brought Joan in to sit with him and talk about her new book Diary of A Mad Diva and her blowout with Fredricka. Click to watch the prank that David pulled on longtime friend Joan — we promise you’ll be laughing!

David Letterman Mocks Joan Rivers’ Explosive CNN Interview — Watch

Joan was definitely one Mad Diva!

In her recent interview with CNN, Joan stormed off in the middle of the segment when she realized Fredricka was criticizing her humor as “very mean in some ways.”

Who else would mock the comedian’s acting out other than Late Show host David Letterman?

Joan told David that the anchor’s questions were “nasty” and even compared the interview to her own wedding night!

In their interview, David definitely gave Joan a taste of her own humor. However, Joan seemed to have handled this situation a little better — she ended up jokingly interviewing herself when David walked out on her.

David Letterman Will Not Return After Contract Ends In 2015

David renewed his contract in 2013; unfortunately, it was only for two years and he will not be returning once the contract ends. Either way, he had an incredible 22 years on the Late Show!

CBS announced on April 10 that Stephen Colbert would be replacing David — we know he’ll do an awesome job as the host!

What do you think of David’s spoof on Joan’s CNN interview, HollywoodLifers? Do you think Joan was right in storming out of the CNN interview? Let us know your thoughts!

Joan…….We are both very sad to hear of the devastating news the other day. You who has always been there…..making millioms laugh……and giving us another side of your humanity in all of your other ventures…..being the brash business woman, as well as your on the road visits to cities big and small towns across the country and overseas. There are so many people that love you and are really rooting for you. We both pray that God will spare you and lift you up so that you can continue your journey and be more blessed because of it. God always has his children’s best interests at heart. Truly he will put his arms around you and comfort you and restore you to full health, or bid you to be with him forever. We love you and your family and will keep you and your family in our hearts.

I love you Joan darling. Thank you David for the wonderful interview and your stage drama. Just excellent. Critics, yes, Joan can be less then shameless in her comments, I agree, however, her fans love her just the way she is. Critics, please stop taking life so seriously. Please add some much needed humor into your lives.

Seriously, who likes Joan Rivers? I’m baffled by her judgment that the CNN person who interviewed her was nasty. I have never seen anyone more nasty than Joan. Okay, maybe Kathy Griffin and Chelsea Handler run a close 2nd and 3rd, but hello, the pot calling the kettle black. It’s so ridiculous that I’m thinking that old lady is loosing her mind.

Help me figure this out; you’re posting an ad in a comment section about David Letterman walking off the stage on Joan Rivers. This makes sense because…, oh, it doesn’t. Faux pas!!!
