Zac and Michelle — you shocked the world when photos went public revealing your hot romance and major PDA. But while some fans are freaking over your older-younger hookup, I say you two should just enjoy your love!
Zac Efron and Michelle Rodriguez — don’t pay one iota of attention to any Debbie or Danny Downers out there who are naysaying your new romance. You two are both single, successful and, yes, totally ready to mingle! Why shouldn’t you dive right in to a hot summer romance?
Zac Efron & Michelle Rodriguez’s PDA-Filled Romance: Have Fun & Ignore Haters!
Just because you, Michelle, are 35 and you, Zac, are 26, there’s been some major skepticism about the longterm prospects of your new relationship. But aren’t these observers just getting way ahead of themselves?
Number one, there are lots of successful romances and marriages involving older women and younger men. But number two, who says that this love affair has to last forever? What’s wrong with it being right for just right now? Not every romance is meant to last for a lifetime. Sometimes it’s just fabulous to have fun and to be companions. And it sure looks like you’re doing all of that.
The two of you couldn’t have looked happier vacationing on your friend Gianluca Vacchi‘s yacht over the July Fourth weekend. You were swimming and sunbathing and goofing around — and of course, PDAing!
HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY that you two have known each other for a little while through mutual friends, and have always been friendly, but that you really bonded during the after-party for The Rover.
We’ve learned that you hung out together all night at the party, according to a source close to Zac, and that you both found that you had a lot in common. Zac was sympathetic to you, Michelle, after your split from your last romantic partner, Victoria’s Secret model Cara Delevingne. And Michelle was able to be supportive to you, Zac, on the substance abuse issues that you’ve battled in the past. (FYI, Michelle was once arrested for a DUI on Dec. 1, 2006.)
An eyewitness at the Rover event on June 12 tells us that you were together “all night, and then left with each other.” And now we hear that you are “taking things extremely slow,” and that what you currently have is making you “happy,” according to another source.
Well, it seems to me that if what you have is making you happy, then that is all that matters in your relationship. Who cares what the haters have to say? No one else is in this romance but you two.
Zac Efron & Michelle Rodriguez: Focus On Each Other, Not The Haters
Zac, you haven’t had a super serious girlfriend since you dated your High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens for four years, while you, Michelle, have been romantically involved with several people, including Cara, Vin Diesel and Colin Farrell.
But the bottom line is that you two are both completely free from commitments to anybody else, and are available to have any form of a serious or non-serious relationship with each other.
So the dissers just need to cool their jets and find something else to talk about and obsess on. Zac and Michelle, don’t give any of them a moment’s thought, and just be concerned with what’s really important — each other.
Do you agree, HollywoodLifers? Should Zac and Michelle just have fun in the sun and not give a fig about fans who are freaked by their older-younger romance? Let me know.
