As if the Season 2 premiere of ‘Under The Dome’ didn’t see enough death — two of Chester’s Mill’s residents are gone! — the July 7 brings yet more threats to the town. Barbie’s life is in danger! Click to WATCH a sneak peek!
Under The Dome brings some romance in tonight’s episode, but even Joe (Colin Ford) and Norrie’s (Mackenzie Lintz) young love can’t save the town. Still, while everything is in shambles, it’s nice to see the lovebirds enjoy a sweet kiss in the woods — until they find something unexpected. Keep reading to find out what (or who) they come across.
‘Under The Dome’: Barbie’s Life Is In Danger
Chester’s Mill’s residents are dropping like, well, butterflies.
The June 30 season premiere killed off Angie (Britt Robertson) and Linda (Natalie Martinez), and the death toll only seems to be getting higher.
Barbie’s (Mike Vogel) life is put in danger on the July 7 episode when he tries to help Rebecca (Karla Crome) save the town from starvation when their food supply is put in jeopardy with butterfly eggs infesting all of the crops under the dome.
It also doesn’t look like Big Jim (Dean Norris) is doing too well. In a new promo pic, he’s covered in blood, looking completely distraught, angry and hopeless (see above).
Joe & Norrie Kiss In The Forest Again
In a brief moment of happiness, Joe and Mackenzie make out in the forest, “the only place that feels normal,” with beautiful butterflies falling down around them — until they realize that they’re dead. “It’s okay,” says Joe. “There’s about to be a lot more of them…if they’re dying, then they laid new eggs.” (Foreshadow alert — this is not a good thing!)
And then they encounter another almost-dead creature — a mysterious girl who doesn’t know her name.
Watch the sneak peek clip above, and catch Under The Dome on Monday, July 7 on CBS (10/9c).
