Who ever said that rihanna should play aaliyah must be ignorant. They look nothing alike. Rihanna is trashy, aaliyah was not.

She is very talented with morals , portraying aaliyah would have been cool.but zendaya is I feel can find a better role to suit her qualities. She will achieve her dreams on her own terms.

I hope u made the decision, bcuz that’s how u really felt. Not bcuz of the things people were saying. I feel if that was ur idol u would have done ur best & a great job at that. By the way in some of ur pictures u favor her. Good luck n what ever decision u make though…..

This movie will only get made if the person portraying Aaliyah has never worked a day professionally in the entertainment business. It has to be a 100% newcomer. There hasn’t been an Aaliyah movie in the last 13 years & I don’t believe there will be one in the next 13. The family wants more money to endorse an Aaliyah movie then anyone in the right mind would ever pay. As long as her immediate family members are alive, it’ll prolly never happen.

Rihanna has been asked to audition for this role. Met Aaliyah when she was 15 yrs old . Smart and Very fast lerner. Impatient. Maybe Rihanna can play this kind of guurl also !!

If her family doesn’t watch it, they’ll ruin her career.
Lifetime isn’t anymore low budget then the Disney stuff she does.
Sometimes you have to take the low budget stuff to get people to pay attention.
That is the reason she did DWTS.
I’m not saying DWTS is low budget, just that she did it to try and further her career.
She got more visibility, but not much else.
Her Shake It Up co-star has already done her first box office movie.
Zendaya, being a woman of color will have to work much harder and smarter to secure good roles.
If she felt the script and other things weren’t there, then she made the right choice for her.
Actors parents have ruined many a career.
Hopefully they have a great relationship and good communication.
I wish her luck.

I’m sad she not apart of the film anymore, I was really looking forward to seeing her portray Aaliyah.
