Totally with you there, until I rewound it and realized it wasn’t. If those two hookup, you know what role playing game they’ll play

It was, and he even said it out loud to her, “it worked”. The writers here are clearly too stupid to realize it was a concocted plan between Kate and Jack because Navarro always thought Kate was emotionally spiraling out of control.

The plan was to play on that and make Navarro believe she was really going to kill him out of emotion, since he never would spill his only bargaining chip without believing the threat was real (rather than a setup). Not only does Jack say out loud it was a plan, and kate nods, but the minute she backs off when he gives up the code, Navarro’s eyes light up, going back and forth between her and Jack, realizing he was set up.

Main point: This article’s writer needs to be fired for being so colossally dumb.

It’s very easy to find out any topic on web as compared to books,
as I found this paragraph at this web page.

I’m sure he could be convinced to change his mind, but Kiefer already said that this is it, no more Jack Bauer. He thinks the role’s a bit too physical for him now. I personally think he’s doing a fantastic job this season. It may be short, but it’s one of the best ever.

Could not agree with you more. His face shows his age and he had to get in fantastic shape for the season with the running, running, running and stunts.
