Apparently a mug shot is the best headshot for modeling agencies — at least for Jeremy Meeks! The foxy felon will reportedly be launching a modeling career after getting out of prison!
Ever since Jeremy Meeks was arrested and his mugshot went viral on June 19, women all over have been hoping that he takes on a modeling career. While agencies have begun looking at him, a new report claims that his “associates” are searching for a publicist to get him a modeling gig right after his release!
Jeremy Meeks Launching Modeling Career?
Jeremy, 30, is heading to a hearing on June 27 and will take the stand with San Joaquin County Judge Franklin Stephenson. If he gets released, his next stop may just be a modeling agency, as his team is trying to launch his career by contacting “more than a dozen” publicists and agents, a source told NYDailyNews.
However, it may be harder than they think. The newspaper spoke with top celebrity reps who have been contacted by people saying they were his team — and they have no interest.
“I don’t know what they’re looking for,” one top rep said. “It’s so bizarre. I didn’t even take the call.” An LA rep added that they “want nothing to do with this story.”
Jeremy’s Tattoos May Help Modeling Career?
However, one agency, Blaze Models told TMZ they can book him with companies that would pay a lot, like Versace and Armani. They don’t mind his tattoos because “gangster models” are in right now. The teardrop, which is a gang sign, is apparently “edgy and sexy” and they would pay between $15 and $30K month!
TMZ also spoke to another agency who wants him too.
So, since Jeremy was put charged with one gang charge and five weapons charges on June 18 and is held on a $1 million bail, he may need the money.
Do you think he should become a model, HollywoodLifers?
