There was at least one person completely unimpressed with Clint Dempsey’s exciting goal during the June 27 World Cup game against Germany — and it has been caught on video!
Gabe White‘s son, 7, could not have been any less interested in the USA vs. Germany World Cup game. Even as his entire family watched the game in another room, the boy ignored the hype — especially when Clint Dempsey scored a goal and everyone in his house started cheering. Clint Dempsey Does Not Impress Jake White’s Son
Maybe soccer just isn’t his thing.
On June 27, while his parents and brother were watching the USA vs. Germany World Cup game, Jake’s son decided to film himself playing with his wrestling toys.
While he put on an exciting wrestling match with his action figures, his family starts cheering loudly from the other room. At first the young, shirtless boy ignores the cheers, but then he takes a break from his wrestling show to explain the situation.
Getting in real close to the camera, he sighs heavily and shows absolutely zero excitement over the noise disturbance. Then, he tells his audience that his family “loves” the World Cup “so much.”
“I guess our team scored a goal,” he says as he shakes his head, clearly annoyed. Then he takes his seat behind his wrestling mat once again, “Now, let’s get back to wrestling battle royale.”
Ha! He just has not been bitten by the soccer “bug” like the rest of his family. Hey, at least he’s honest!
