Because of potentially awkward run-ins, Chris can’t seem to make up his mind whether to attend the BET Awards in Los Angeles on June 29 or not. But he has been invited, multiple sources tell HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY, so the only question that remains is — will he go?
Chris Brown is juggling the idea of attending the BET Awards back and forth just like he did when he couldn’t decide between Rihanna and Karrueche Tran. And although the singer is nominated for several awards, including Best Male R&B/Pop Artist, Breezy is yet again being indecisive on whether to attend the big show, HollywoodLife.com is EXCLUSIVELY reporting.
To Attend Or Not To Attend The BET Awards: That Is Chris Brown’s Question
It seems as though Chris, 25, really doesn’t want to be in situations that could cause him to act out. We told you, he doesn’t want to have a run-in with ex Rihanna, 26, nor is he anxious to see his once-nemesis Drake, 27.
With that, he is hoping to win all the awards for which he’s nominated AND be on stage in front of all his “Loyal” fans. But sources close to Chris tell HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY he’s torn and doesn’t know what to do.
“It changes with him daily,” a source close to the singer says. “He wants peace and to not be in a position of confrontation or be around people that will upset him. It’s 50/50 and he honestly won’t even know until the day before or day of. He’s torn but will make that decision soon.”
BET Not Sure Whether Chris Brown Will Show
Additionally, another source tells us that BET has in fact extended an invitation to Chris but that they too are in the dark on whether he’ll grace everyone with his presence.
“He was invited [but] has not RSVP’d,” a second source who works with BET production EXCLUSIVELY revealed to HollywoodLife.com. “He isn’t expected and he isn’t performing but if he shows up we will let him in. But we don’t expect him at the show.”
So as of now, it seems that Chris’ fans might need to expect not to see Chris at the BETs, but hope that he changes his mind last-minute and shows up.
Tell us what you think, HollywoodLifers. Do you want to see Chris at the BET Awards?
