Lana Del Rey is one of the biggest singer songwriters in the world but despite her success, she apparently still wishes she was dead. Now, she’s being called out by a famous musician’s daughter.

After making controversial comments about wishing she was dead already, Lana Del Rey, 28, is receiving backlash from Kurt Cobain’s daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, 21. She called Lana out on Twitter, accusing her of “romanticizing” death.

Frances Bean Cobain: Dying Young Isn’t ‘Cool’

Lana raised eyebrows when she admitted to The Guardian that she wished she was already dead. In the interview, Lana listed some of her heroes, which included Kurt and Amy Winehouse. Both were musicians who died at the young age of 27-years-old.

When she was asked if she saw dying young as “glamorous” Lana shockingly responded, “I don’t know. Ummm, yeah. I wish I was dead already.”

Now, Kurt’s daughter, Frances, is responding to Lana’s comments and insisting that dying young isn’t “cool.”

Frances Cobain To Lana Del Rey: You’re Too Talented To Waste Life

Frances continued her Twitter rant telling Lana to “embrace life” because she’s “too talented to waste it.”

Although fans of Lana’s attacked Frances for speaking up, she insists she was just speaking as someone who lost their musician father at a very young age.

As for Lana, this sadly just goes to show that money and fame — not even a successful second album and a performance at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s epic wedding — don’t always bring happiness.

What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Was Frances right to stand up against Lana Del Rey? Let us know your thoughts below!

I applaud FBC for speaking up. And as far as anyone attacking her, consider the source.
