Saved By The Bell was one of the most iconic teen series of the 90s, and possibly ever. However, what really went on behind-the-scenes with our favorite teen stars like Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Elizabeth Berkley and Mario Lopez? Lifetime is set to air a tell-all of the beloved series, which features a new cast portraying our swoonworthy teen idols.
‘The Unauthorized Saved By The Bell’ Airing On Lifetime
The beloved Saved By The Bell series is getting a revamp! The fan-favorite television show is making a return in the form of a Lifetime television movie, The Unauthorized Saved By The Bell Story, BuzzFeed confirmed.
However, the movie is said to “change the way that fans look at the classic kids’ comedy,” BuzzFeed revealed. Hmm, what could that entail?
Dustin Diamond, who played Screech on the hit show, wrote a book in 2009 about his experience on the show. He revealed that there was a lot more going, including sex between castmates and drugs! The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story was created independently of Dustin’s novel and will feature an entirely new cast!
