Andi Dorfman officially resigned from assistant district attorney after finding love on ‘The Bachelorette.’ She previously took a leave of absence when the show began, but finally cut ties with her job to focus on her new life.
The Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman, 27, took on unpaid leave of absence when she chose to go on the show. However that ended on May 31, and she reportedly officially resigned from her job at the Fulton County District Attorney’s office. So was there bad blood when she left?
Andi Dorfman Resigns From Assistant D.A. Job
Andi has made it clear on The Bachelorette that she would put her love life ahead of her career!
“I love my job, but my job is not my top priority. I’m ready to find my husband. I’m ready to fall in love, to meet the man of my dreams,” she revealed on the reality show.
And that’s just what Andi did when she went on the show, leaving her job behind. Fulton County D.A. Paul Howard Jr. was okay with a leave of absence, with a return date listed as May 31, according to TMZ. However, she reportedly decided to be done for good after finding love on the show.
And, resigning isn’t much of a worry for Andi! The prosecutor’s office where Andi worked, had only positive things to say about her and that if the opportunity arose to re-hire her, they sure would!
