Even though she was a spectator, all eyes were on the duchess who wore a beautiful, pastel blue coat dress while attending the annual Order of the Garter service. Kate dressed to impress the royal attendees of Windsor Castle as she stood on the sidelines to support her husband, Prince William, who took part in the traditional service. Did you love Kate’s elegant outfit?
Kate Middleton, 32, was regal in a soft, pale blue coat as a spectator of the annual Order of the Garter ceremony on June 16. The Duchess of Cambridge exchanged loving looks with Prince William as he proceeded through the grounds of Windsor Castle during the service. Although Kate was only a spectator at the event, we loved that she still looked elegant and perfectly put together, (as always), while re-wearing a look she first debuted in 2012. We also adored her beaded L.K. Bennett Natalie gold clutch — but it was her proud smile that was the best accessory to her overall look!
Kate Middleton’s Order Of The Garter Dress — 2014 Ceremony Outfit:
The classy duchess attended the annual service wearing a silky, pastel blue Christopher Kane coat that featured a waist-cinching belt that allowed her to flaunt her svelte figure and accentuated her natural, demure beauty. Kate accessorized with a matching hat by Lock & Co, and completed her look with simple gold pumps that were comfortable enough for her to stand in as she watched Queen Elizabeth II lead the Knights of the Garter to the Most Noble Order of the Garter Ceremony from the Galilee Porch.
Kate always looks pretty in pastel, but this isn’t the first time we’ve seen her in this Christopher Kane coat! In fact, Kate wore the coat two years ago at Buckingham Palace for an event celebrating the London Olympics. We love that this royal isn’t afraid to recycle — and more importantly, renew — pieces of clothing, showing us that we don’t need a new outfit for every event we attend!
