‘The Magic School Bus’ To Return With Netflix Reboot

Get ready, because Ms. Frizzle is planning a whole slew of new and exciting field trips for us.

After the hit 90’s animated show garnered popularity on Netflix, the streaming service decided to reboot the show and expand their original content for children, reports the New York Times.

“’Magic School Bus,’ the old version, is remarkably popular on Netflix,” said Ted Sarandos, the Netflix’s chief content officer. “It teaches science in a way that transcends generations.”

The Magic School Bus 360° consists of 26 brand-new episodes, and Netflix hopes to launch the series as soon as 2016.

The new episodes will not be animated and instead will be computer generated, including a “modernized” Ms. Frizzle. Her students will also have access to new and exciting tools that are much more relevant to the new generation, such as robots and smart suit that read vital organs. Sounds awesome!
