Alexander, a retired chemist and parapsychologist, passed away in his Manhattan home on Sunday, June 8. The Guinness World Records honored Alexander on May 8 with an award for being the oldest living man in the world. How crazy!
So, how did he live such a long life? Alexander told Yahoo that he credited his longevity to good genes — both of his parents lived into their 90s — proper nutrition and exercise, and the fact that he and his wife never had children.
Age was only a number for Alexander! He published a book called “Incredible Tales of Paranormal” when he was 92 years old. At the age of 93, he enrolled in the IM School of Healing Arts, a school for self-awareness and healing, where he studied for three years. And it didn’t stop there — when he finished school at 96, he traveled to Turkey!
Alexander Imich Lived His Life To The Fullest
Alexander surely made his life count until the very last moment — it’s so inspiring!
His close friend, Michael Mannion, revealed to sources that Alexander’s “enormous curiosity and ability to turn even great adversity into something positive were important factors in his long life. These qualities were evident even in his last weeks and days of life.”
Amazingly, Alexander didn’t need full-time help until the last three months of his life. It wasn’t until his last two weeks that things got really bad.
Our thoughts go out to Alexander Imich’s loved ones during this difficult time.
