The emotions are definitely running high on ‘The Bachelorette!’ After catching us up on the first few weeks of Andi’s journey, ABC showed us the rose ceremony that was cut out of the June 2 episode — and Tasos’ extremely sad elimination!
And then there were 11! On the June 9 episode of The Bachelorette we saw Andi Dorfman say goodbye to one of our favorites, Tasos. His emotional goodbye was cut from the previous episode so that The Bachelorette could pay tribute to Eric Hill. However, they decided to air it — and we’re so happy they did!
‘The Bachelorette’: Tasos Eliminated
“It’s been obviously, a very interesting night. To be completely honest, that’s done for me. That part of the night is over and done. I am not looking back, I am instead looking at y’all,” Andi said, starting the rose ceremony, after she angrily sent Eric home. However, she put that behind her — even saying that she’s still happy with what’s there! “I know tonight was difficult, and I said when I came here, ‘This is working for me.’ I said that at the very beginning of the night and despite everything that’s gone on, I still stand here and say that. This is emotional — the feelings are raw, and they’re natural and at times crazy, but the feelings are there. And I know what I want, I do.”
Unfortunately, it wasn’t Tasos that she wanted, so he was the only one that ended up without a rose. However, it was sweet that she walked out with him and explained to him that she didn’t have that “immediate connection” with him and on a show like that, there’s not time for more — which is true!
Then Tasos broke our heart, telling her “I owe some of the best days of my life to you!”
Tasos: Being With Andi Was ‘The Best Part Of My Life’
“Somebody is going to be very lucky to have Tasos. He’s a great guy … but I didn’t want to lead Tasos on,” Andi said after hugging him goodbye and sending him into that dreaded limo. “I have that genuine respect for Tasos, and it just goes to show you that you cannot force connection.”
Then we get a look at Tasos — who literally is bawling in the limo and seriously makes every woman on Earth just want to give him a hug. However, incase the tears weren’t enough to get you choked up, just listen to what he said. (Grabbing tissues, BRB.)
“Life isn’t fair, and a part of you begins to belive that and give up on the things that you fight for,” he said wiping his eyes. “So that’s where these emotions are coming from. I was thrown back because when she told me I deserve somebody wonderful, it was her. There was nobody else I was thinking of at that moment. It was a small part of my life, but it’s been the best part of my life so far.”
After just three weeks? Well, when you know you know, right? What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Do you think it was time for Tasos to go? Do you think they had chemistry? Let us know!
