Justin Bieber: Baptized Amidst N-Word Video Release

Justin’s friends have stuck by his side through all the drama — and he’s hoping the ultimate friend upstairs will stand by him, too. Justin apologized after his second N-word video was released by posting a Bible verse on Instagram on June 4. Now we’ve learned the singer has been “intensely” studying the Bible with a Pastor, according to TMZ. Justin and his team reportedly knew the videos would be released long before any of us saw the footage — and when Justin found out the vids could go public, he dug deep into the Bible.

Pastor Carl Lentz, a Pastor who works with Justin in New York City, opened up to TMZ about his “intense” Bible study with the Biebs in May. “Bieber’s religious resurgence focused on studying Bible passages and attending services … culminating in an actual baptism performed in the bathtub of one of the singer’s friends,” TMZ reports.

Justin had to ultimately atone in a friend’s tub because his famous face was always recognized whenever he’d go into a church — and the singer wanted his holy moment to stay private.

Justin has apologized for both videos to the public — and in private he’s feeling major pain, too. “Justin’s been in tears. But he knows he needs to take responsibility for his actions, he’s confronting his past and he’s hanging out with his real friends and his parents,” a source tells the UK’s Daily Mail. The singer is devastated about the tapes — which show him in the early stages of his career — becoming worldwide gossip.
