Before this movie … WAS THE BOOK! if you heard about the book or read the book, or at least about the movie.. obviously you know that Agustus dies!! There’s nothing shocking about that… I thougt i missed something when i saw the movie….

Because not everyone who watched movies based on books has read the book… Did you know nearly ALL movies are based on books, but I doubt you’ve read every one of them!

That would make sense if the article hadn’t said that fans of the book were surprised at the ending–that makes it seems like the film pulled a My Sister’s Keeper and switched the ending, which didn’t happen in TFIOS

“There’s a MAJOR death in the dark but romantic flick, and the book’s fans are understandably devastated by the gut-wrenching — and surprising — ending.
The Fault in Our Stars just hit theaters TODAY, June 6, but die-hard fans of the John Green book-turned-movie have already caught the flick”

Read first then judge…

Why would anyone be surprised? Most if not all have read the book and Gus dies at the end. No big surprise.

I know right. At first I thought they changed the ending but no that’s how the book ends…no shocker.
