If there was a high school superlative for best hair, Peter Dinklage would win. Back in the day, before he was Tyrion Lannister in ‘Game of Thrones,’ Peter had a serious case of the mullet. Check it out here.
Peter Dinklage, 44, is the latest celeb to have his embarrassing high school yearbook photo be published on the web for the world to see. On June 3, a former classmate of Peter uploaded the photo online, and now it’s gone viral!
Peter Dinklage’s Mullet
Peter was a senior at the Delbarton School in Morristown, N.J. when the photo was taken in 1987. The photo, shot in black and white, shows Peter looking into the camera with a somewhat emotionless expression, and was posted by a friend on Reddit.
Cheer up, younger Peter. Bet you didn’t think Game of Thrones was in your future.
The photo includes a quote at the bottom that is partially cut off — a shoddy scanner job? According to Celebuzz, the quote is from playwright Sam Shepard: “Words are tools of imagery in motion.” We wonder why that quote was chosen?
Peter Dinklage: From Student With A Mullet To Well-Known Actor
In the past, Peter spoke about how he was an outcast during high school. It is hard to believe that hair like that would make Peter an outcast. Back then, he was keeping up with the times. Who wouldn’t want to be Peter’s friend?
With his mullet days behind him, it is safe to say that Peter has moved on to bigger and better things. Peter is best known for his character Tyrion Lannister — dubbed the God of Tits and Wine by MTV — in HBO’s hit series Games of Thrones.
