Getting married is an exciting time, but it can also be very stressful when everything goes awry — and that’s exactly what happens on the June 4 (8/7c, ABC Family) wedding episode.
Joey spots his bride-to-be in her dress, before they tie the knot, so he makes her throw it away and get a new one! So does that wash away all of the bad luck?
Not quite — there are medical emergencies, relationship woes, a huge confession from Mel (you won’t believe it!) and wedding guests that arrive late.
‘Melissa & Joey': On-Set Secrets Revealed
One guest who was certainly not late was HollywoodLife.com reporter, Russ Weakland, who was on-set for the exciting three-part special, and is seated in the congregation of wedding-goers (see his pic above and watch him in the clip)!
“Being on the set, you could easily see that the cast is more like a family,” says Russ who interviewed the cast, while he was on the set. (Look out for his EXCLUSIVE interviews coming soon!)
“There are some incredible surprises along the way that as an extra, we weren’t told about until it happened so the surprised faces of the wedding guests is completely real,” our reporter revealed, adding, “The cast all really loved being there and were very friendly and approachable. It was a no drama day on set. Everyone was on it!”
The groom-to-be was impressive, too. “Joey Lawrence is really a good actor,” Russ raves. “He really surprised me on his work ethic.”
Mel will surprise you, too, with her huge shocker at the end of the June 4 episode!
