Hunter Hayes, as usual, was one of our favorite stars to hit the stage at the 2014 CMT Music Awards! He took the stage at Tennessee’s Bridgestone Arena and put on a jaw-dropping performance of a brand new love song, ‘Tattoo.’
Could Hunter Hayes be any more adorable? On June 4, we fell in love with him all over again during his performance of his new song “Tattoo,” off of his second album Storyline. Not only does it have adorable lyrics but Hunter looked so cute! He even hit the stage later to play guitar while Jennifer Nettles and John Legend sang a duet of “All of Me!” Details about their performances below!
Hunter Hayes’ Performance At CMT Awards
The fans went absolutely crazy when Hunter performed the new song, strumming his guitar.
He told Radio.com that his new album Storyline was a “continuation” of his first album, and “a series of songs that talk about life and love and just writing the storyline as we go.”
Later, Hunter took the stage with Jennifer Nettles and John Legend for a new version of “All of Me!” It was completely different than anything we’ve ever heard, and was a great collaboration. Of course Jen and John sounded great and Hunter’s guitar playing was a perfect change to the original song.
“This is a very unique awards show,” Hunter told CMT before the show.”It brings the concert element — the wild concert element — to life in a really interesting way. It’s great. I mean, just little things. Everybody is standing up and having a party on the floor. They do the whole thing outside — all that fun stuff.”
It’s no surprise that the fans absolutely loved Hunter — he always puts on an amazing show and was nominated for Male Video of the Year for “I Want Crazy” and for Collaborative Video of the Year for “Everybody’s Got Somebody but Me” with Jason Mraz.
