The actress passed away June 1 at the age of 88. Ann slipped in her home and hit her head. She suffered a subdural hematoma and never woke up, her friend Bishop William Frey said, according to CNN.

Ann was born on May 3, 1926 in Schenectady, New York. She starred on The Brady Bunch TV series from 1969 to 1974. She played the wise-cracking housekeeper Alice Nelson, who helped out the Brady clan. Her last television appearance was on Something So Right in 1997.

Before The Brady Bunch, Ann won two Primetime Emmys in 1958 and 1959 for her role as Charmaine Schultz on The Bob Cummings Show. Alice Nelson on The Brady Bunch was by far Ann’s most iconic role.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Ann’s family during this difficult time. Ann will be deeply missed.
