John Malkovich Stars In ‘Crossbones’ — WATCH Trailer

John Malkovich has played a wide variety of parts, including a version of himself in Being John Malkovich, but he’s never played Blackbeard.

The Academy Award-nominated actor is taking on the pirate in the period drama, and if the trailer is any indication, you don’t want to mess with him.

As the story goes, the action-packed show is a treasure full of fighting, gunshots, scheming and sleeping around the ship.

Richard Coyle stars as Tom Lowe who’s set to destroy Blackbeard’s plan, and ultimately kill the pirate, and Yasmine Al Masri plays Selima, who in the trailer (below), is being swayed to be Blackbeard’s golden object of lust.

Will Blackbeard be taken down? WATCH the clip below and tune in to find out!

Crossbones premieres on Friday, May 30 (10/9c) on NBC.
