Justin Bieber seems to cause trouble wherever he goes! While the 20-year-old megastar was in Cannes to take in the film festival on May 19, he stopped by Gotha nightclub — shirtless, because obviously — when a scuffle broke out and he allegedly pushed a girl! Read on for all the details and to see pics!
Justin Bieber Shoves A Girl In Gotha Nightclub In Cannes, France
So, here’s what allegedly went down. Justin was at Gotha on May 19 when he joined a friend on a couch inside the Cannes nightclub. A girl — probably a Belieber — tried to jump over the couch, according to MailOnline, likely in an effort to join Justin and his friend.
Justin shoved the girl away and she fell, according to eyewitnesses, which upset her male friend. Then, he and Justin began shoving each other, which is when the Biebs’ bodyguards stepped in to take Justin away from the fight. In the pics, you can see Justin being carted off — while shirtless — by his bodyguards.
Eyewitnesses reported to MailOnline that girls then began to scream as the club blacked out its lights so that the bodyguards could take Justin away. He reappeared a short time later at a different table. Try, try again.
Justin Bieber’s Nightclub Scuffle: Did He Fly Off The Handle?
It’s understandable that Justin may have been taken aback by a girl literally crawling over a couch to try and get to him, but pushing her so that she fell was inarguably extreme.
The incident was only exacerbated by the fact that he then chose to get into a shoving match with the girl’s friend instead of disengaging from the situation entirely, of his own accord, instead of by his bodyguards’.
UPDATE 05/29 @ 1:00pm ET: “This never happened. The whole thing is made up,” a source close to Justin revealed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Did Justin fly off the handle, or did he handle the situation appropriately? Remember, kids, violence is never the answer!
