Selena Gomez explained to a Nepalese journalist that she was in the country of Nepal for her own ‘mental peace’ and to get away from the American media. Could Selena also be looking to get away from the Justin Bieber drama back in the states as well?
Selena Gomez, 21, sat down with Nepalese journalist Bisnu Sharma for an interview while she was in Nepal. Bisnu posted the telling session on his blog and what it revealed was Selena’s need to get away from the American media. “Mental peace” is what Selena said she was trying to find — was she perhaps looking for mental peace from all the Justin Bieber relationship drams as well?

Bisnu translates Selena’s full comment into: “I am in Nepal to escape from American media. I wanted mental peace.”
The separation from Justin Bieber and the emphasis placed on it back here in the states was huge. Maybe Selena is just trying to take a break from all the attention.
She recently, posted several pictures on her Instagram account that would lead one to believe that she is taking steps to find that “mental peace” she was talking about.
“I’m taking my power back,” was a caption that was posted alongside a pic of her looking playful as she sported a skimpy yellow bikini, and played in the water.
Selena Jets Away For ‘Mental Peace’ & To Get Away From Justin?
But whatever Selena tries to do, the Justin drama still follows her. The Biebs just recently released a track to his Instagram account, on May 24, claiming that he was “hurting.”
The hook to the song says, “You know exactly what to do to hurt me — it’s working — it’s working.”
Could he be talking about Selena when she made a reference on her Instagram account to his poor choice in women?
A fan commented on one of Selena’s pics, saying “ooooooo you need to get her back boy,” referring to Justin of course. Selena replied: “he’d rather models.”
HollywoodLifers, what did you think about Selena leaving the country? Do you think she left to get help or do you think she was just running away from her problems? Let us know what’s on your mind.
