This is so sad. Rob Kardashian is reportedly ‘deeply depressed’ about his recent weight gain, and the reason for him skipping Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding has only made his depression worse, a source has revealed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Rob Kardashian, 27, skipped out on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s wedding festivities — including the pre-wedding brunch, the rehearsal dinner, and the ceremony and reception itself — because Kim made him feel embarrassed about his weight gain, a source revealed to HollywoodLife.com exclusively. Now, we’re hearing at HollywoodLife.com that Rob is “deeply depressed” about his weight gain and that Kim’s reported diss was the last straw. Read on for more about this super sad story!
Rob Kardashian ‘Is Not In A Good Place Right Now’
“Rob is not in a good place right now at all and his family should be very worried about him,” our insider revealed. “He was embarrassed to go to the wedding in the first place because of his weight gain and to be ridiculed by Kim and basically rejected has put him over the edge.” Of course, we don’t know Kim’s side — maybe she was misunderstood, maybe she was stressed and lashed out — but this definitely sounds like a huge problem.
“The Kardashian family prides themselves on looking absolutely fabulous and the fact that they would choose looks over family is simply appalling,” our source continued.
Rob Kardashian Is Overweight Because He Is Depressed
“Why is Rob overweight? Because he is deeply depressed and is in denial about getting help. His family should be very concerned with his well being right now. While they are having the time of their lives, their son, their brother is suffering immensely.”
This is so, genuinely sad! It’s very likely that his depression caused his weight gain, not vice versa — there are obviously more issues at work here than simple weight gain, which would not cause somebody to go “over the edge” as Rob reportedly has.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Do you believe that Rob’s family could have been so insensitive, or is there some kind of misunderstanding? Should Rob be seeking therapy over personal trainers? Let us know.
