Uh oh. Arian Foster is at the center of a major paternity lawsuit. A 21-year-old college student has claimed that she is pregnant with the married NFL star’s lovechild. Now, the Houston Texans running back is now being sued for child support and emotional distress.
College student, Brittany Norwood, 21, is claiming she had an affair with Arian Foster, 27, and is now carrying his child. Brittany first made claims in January that Arian was the father, and that he pressured her to have an abortion — which she refused to do. Now, things have gotten more complicated as Brittany is suing Arian, a married man of two years, for child support and emotional distress.
Arian Foster Facing Paternity Lawsuit From Brittany Norwood
Looks like Arian can’t run away from this problem.
In January, a college student named Brittany shocked everyone when she went public with allegations that she is carrying Arian’s baby.
Arian has been married to Romina Reinhart since 2011, so how could he have fathered another woman’s baby?
Making matters worse, Brittany is also claiming that the child is not a result of a one-night-stand, but that she was in a relationship with the NFL running back. Now, she’s suing him for child support and emotional distress.
“I didn’t know he was married at the time [the relationship started]. In my head, I’m like he’s Arian Foster, why wouldn’t he try to hide this?” She told My Fox Houston back in January when she first announced the news.
Brittany said she asked Arian two weeks into their relationship if he was married and Arian responded that his marriage was for legal purposes only — so that his Germany-born wife could stay in the U.S.
Brittany alleges that Arian told her he married his wife Romina after she became pregnant with their first child. In order for Romina to stay in the country, Arian needed to marry her and make her a U.S. citizen.
However, after finding out that he was a married man with two children, Brittany still continued her relationship with Arian. Brittany claims that it wasn’t until after she found out she was pregnant was when things changed and they finally broke up.
Arian Foster Hasn’t Denied The Baby
Although Brittany is suing for child support, Arian is already giving financial support to Brittany, according to KPRC-TV.
She claims that Arian misled her into a relationship, and then Arian and his brother pressured her to have an abortion, causing her to suffer emotional distress.
We have to admit, we don’t think the financial support will be a problem for Arian.
In 2012, he signed a whopping five-year $43.5 million contract with the Houston Texans.
Although he hasn’t denied the child is his, Arian’s lawyers have filed a defamation lawsuit against Brittany. Arian himself refuses to comment on the allegations.
Arian and Brittany are both due in court once the baby is born for paternity test proceedings.
Either way, we hope they can work this out for the sake of their child, who Brittany plans on naming Gatsby Alexander.
