Candy Spelling Opens Up About Tori Spelling
It’s no secret that Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have marital problems and are trying working them out on True Tori. So Tori’s mother, Candy Spelling, dished on The Talk about the difficulty of having to watch her daughter’s show play out on national TV.
“It is devastating,” Candy revealed about her daughter and son-in-law’s series. “I have to say that I have not been able to watch much of it. Thank goodness I have been gone the last two weeks so I’ve missed at least two episodes, and I’m saying that because it is hard to watch. I talk to her or we text each other every day so I just always want to check in and see how she is and how my grandkids are, and that’s the most important part of it — is how my kids are feeling.”
Tori is lucky to have such a strong supporter like her mother in her corner to always have her back when times get rough.
Candy Addresses The Rumors Of Tori & Dean Being Broke — Is It True?
Candy also took the time to address the swirling rumors that Dean and Tori are broke and are using their emotional reality show to stay afloat financially. “I believe Dean came on many shows talking and refuting the entire thing,” Candy said. “Not only that, but I’d never leave my kids in the lurch. I can’t imagine any parent doing that, and I’m always there and I am always there to support her.”
With the rumors swirling around Tori, Candy chooses to focus on the positive and continue to tell Tori how proud she is of her and how impressed with her success she is.
“She’s branded herself beautifully,” Candy said, singing her daughter’s praises. “She has a jewelry line that she does on HSN and has for a long time…and she’s very successful. I’m really proud of her.”
