The teen, who plays Princess Aurora in ‘Maleficent,’ admits that her co-star really is ‘that powerful,’ and says she was definitely nervous about their first encounter — and we definitely can’t say we blame her!
Elle Fanning looks just like an ethereal princess on the cover of FASHION magazine’s ‘Summer 2014’ issue, and inside the 16-year-old opens up about what it was really like working alongside Angelina Jolie in Disney’s upcoming summer blockbuster, Maleficent.
Elle Fanning On Meeting Angelina Jolie — She ‘Was Nervous’ To Meet ‘Maleficent’ Co-Star:
So, is meeting Angie just as nerve-wracking as we could imagine? Yes, it is!”When she walks in the room, everyone notices her presence. She’s really that powerful. I was nervous to meet her at first, but after we hugged, I was fine,” Elle tells the magazine.
The teen is very talented and lights up the screen — and it is all because she has a passion for acting. “I always think of it as make-believe. That’s why I love this job, and think I’ll never get tired of it: You are creating something you haven’t felt or experienced before,” she says.
Elle Fanning On Playing A Character With Tourette Syndrome:
Although she may be young, she isn’t afraid to tackle serious roles — and that’s exactly what she did when she played Phoebe in Wonderland, who suffered from Tourette Syndrome. “Who wants to be the same? It’s so boring,” she says. “One of the lines I love is about not being one of the ‘awful normals.’ You have to have diversity in the world or we’d be clones. That would be terrible—especially in fashion!”
Not only is she talented and stylish, but she has a great head on her shoulders — and we love her for it! What do you think of Elle’s shoot?
