When Beyonce, Jay Z and his sister-in-law, Solange, left the Met Ball after party on May 5, Solange was caught physically attacking Jay Z in an elevator surveillance video. Now a top body language expert tells HollywoodLife.com that Jay looks ‘vulnerable’ in the and scared. HollywoodLifers, read on for the shocking opinion from our top body language expert.
Jay Z , 44, just stands there as Solange Knowles, 27, pummels him inside an elevator at The Standard Hotel in NYC. The rapper is clearly trying to keep his distance and at one point he grabs her ankle to avoid being kicked in the privates. Beyonce, 32, just stands there, seemingly unaffected, and looks on as they fight for several minutes. Dr. Lillian Glass, a top body language expert tells HollywoodLife.com that Jay Z appears “frightened,” not angry, during the attack.
Jay Z Scared That Solange Knowles Will Hit Him In The Privates, Says Expert
Dr. Glass says that this is a man trying to “brace himself” for the continued punches and kicks coming at him.
“[Jay Z] cowers with his back to the elevator and pulls his arms in and covers his private parts which indicates he is feeling very vulnerable and must have physically felt her hard punches,” Dr. Glass tells us. “As she is being restrained he sticks to keeping his distance with his back towards the elevator and rocks back and forth which indicates he is soothing himself and calming himself down.”
But the most interesting point made by Dr. Glass, is that Jay Z looks absolutely terrified.
“[Jay Z] is clearly frightened of her as he has now retreated and backed up into the side corner of the elevator to get further away from her,” she tells us. “As she tries to lunge and break her restraint from the body guard and screams at him, his body stiffens as he cowers deeper into the corner of the elevator.”
