American Comedy Awards Red Carpet — Amy Poehler, Lake Bell & More
The American Comedy Awards aired on May 8, but HollywoodLife.com was at the show’s taping on April 26 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, and we can tell you that it was as much of a must-see event live as it was on television!
Amy Poehler, comedy queen and feminist hero, was stunning in Ralph Lauren, and her Parks & Recreation co-star, Aubrey Plaza, looked just as beautiful in a blue-and-white graffiti print gown from Victor & Rolf.
Mother-to-be and star of the upcoming Million Dollar Arm, Lake Bell, wore a sleeveless, pale blue Dolce & Gabbana gown that trailed the carpet.
Leslie Mann, wearing probably our favorite look of the night, opted for a Saint Laurent jumpsuit. The garment doesn’t normally come with a bandeau — that’s a styling choice — and we also love her bright coral pumps. Nicely done!
American Comedy Awards Red Carpet — Seth Rogen, Kate McKinnon & More
Also on the carpet was SNL cast member Kate McKinnon, Whose Line Is It Anyway host Aisha Tyler, The Daily Show correspondent Jessica Williams, and more amazing ladies of comedy.
Not to be outdone were a host of dapperly-dressed male comics, such as Seth Rogen, Billy On The Street‘s Billy Eichner, X-Men: Days Of Future Past star Patrick Stewart, The Mindy Project‘s Adam Pally, and, best of all, Bill Cosby, wearing what we wear every Sunday — sweats, a sweatshirt, comfy shoes, and a ball cap. Because Bill Cosby does what he wants.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Will you be tuning in to the American Comedy Awards? Whose red carpet look is your favorite? Let us know!
