I don’t care who did or did not like Adriana’s performance. I did. She is an amazing singer. She is adding more to it with some dance moves. Her song is #1 so what does that tell you? I am on her side all the way!

As much as I understand where Blake is coming from, I understand where the angry fans are coming from also.

It should come as no surprise, to Blake, that people aren’t watching those award shows, just for the performances & seeing who wins what. They are always looking to see who does what, and / or who says what. Who’s gonna cause the drama, that everyone will be talking about?!

So if you have celebrities in the audience, with strange expressions, laughing (Lookin at you Rihanna), not applauding when others do. Its no secrete that there are cameras around, so others will see you, and judge you, as much as any other part of the show.

They capture other celebs like Taylor Swift also, and she’s always gonna give you something. A smile, dancing, a moment when she jumps, thinking that she’s about to be awarded for something, only to realize that the presenter is calling someone elses name. Everybody talked about that one lol!

Blake, Luke, and Rihanna are no different than the rest, and they should understand that while they are sitting in that croud, enjoying or not enjoying the show, others are watching….”And Judging them!” Those moments can make for a lot of water-cooler-talk, the next day, and everyone should be mindful of that!

Reblogged this on Voiceswriter and commented:
Why the freak is Blake Shelton taking all the heat? Luke Bryan’s facial expression looks worse than his. In fact, that entire seating section looks either irritated or bored. Step it up Ariana, you are talented now give ‘em a show besides your impressive vocals.

She was, and plenty others seemed to enjoy it, by the sound of the croud after. But she can’t spend her time worring about every individual opinion, you can please some of the people, some of the time, you can’t please them all! And “Stepping it up” isn’t something that can be rushed, or forced, to please the few with sour attitudes. She has to pace herself & challenge herself like any other artist does, over time, and I’m sure know one knows that better than she does!

The celebrities in the audience need not act so surprised, by the way the audience at home judges. Blake, Luke and Rihanna know that people aren’t just looking for a good show on the stage. They are also watching celeb’s in the audience, to see if & how they behave. And people at home will judge, that way, and read what ever they want, into facial expressions, body language, laughter, and anything else they see. Then they become the thing that everyone talks about, even more than the performances, the next day.

If Blake, Luke, Rihanna, or anyone else, doesn’t want that kind of heat, then you better act right during that event, “cause viewers at home see you too, and they will judge!”

I agree with most of what you’re saying but I have also seen Ariana Grande perform LIVE and feel she needs to add a little more pep to her step. She is a very very good singer but it has to come with a show and people have to be entertained by what they are seeing. Even her idol, Mariah would agree.
