He’s a pro at dodging punches in the ring but Floyd Mayweather can’t dodge the controversy surrounding his relationship with ex-girlfriend Shantel Jackson. There is so much drama in his life right now and Floyd still has to fight Marcos Maidana on May 3.
Floyd Mayweather is trying to prepare as best he can for the fight. But he can’t possibly be one-hundred percent focused on the upcoming battle against Marcos Maidana in the amidst of the abortion controversy he’s put himself in by ousting ex-girlfriend Shantel Jackson for allegedly having an abortion.
Mayweather Vs. Maidana: Floyd Fighting Amidst Ex-Girlfriend Abortion Controversy
Floyd potentially has 10 rounds of boxing to get through on May 3, but how can he focus with the world concentrating not on his fight, but on the horrible Facebook post he made claiming that his ex aborted their twin sons.
Floyd and Marcos will battle it out tonight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in a welterweight unification match. “Money” is a huge favorite in the fight.
At the final press conference on April 30, Floyd said he’s interested in putting boxing behind him at some point to “settle down and get married. And have a family.”
Floyd Fights Marcos Amidst Ex-Girlfriend Controversy
However, Floyd’s life doesn’t seem to be settling down anytime soon. He still has this fight to win and he still has to answer questions about what drove him to post such a private thing on Facebook.
“The real reason me and Shantel Christine Jackson @missjackson broke up was because she got a abortion, and I’m totally against killing babies. She killed our twin babies.#ShantelJackson#FloydMayweather#TheMoneyTeam#TMT,” Floyd posted to his account.
To make matters worse Floyd also attached a picture of a sonogram, claiming that it was the picture of the aborted children. The couple ended their relationship over a year ago and it seems like Floyd is lashing out. However, Floyd has certainly picked the wrong time because Marcos is ready for 10 rounds weather “Money” is ready or not.
What do you think HollywoodLifers, is Floyd wrong for posting those comments about his ex, and do you think all this controversy is distracting him from his upcoming fight? Let us know.
