Shailene Woodley Cries During Hair Cut — Gets Dramatic Chop
Shailene has always worn her hair very long and she even vowed to never cut it short! Before getting her big chop last year, the actress went to her blog to share her feelings on parting with her long hair.
“For the past five years I’ve been on an I-want-to-grow-my-hair-as-long-as-possible kick …” she wrote. “I finally came to the conclusion that hair, for me, was a symbol of strength … For the longest time, I was committed to never chopping it off.”
Like most girls before a haircut, Shailene was visibly nervous as she sat in the salon chair. She covered her face with her hands for almost the entire cut and smiled through her tears as she held her long ponytails.
