Whoa, baby! Two Colombian toddlers, just 10 months old, weight a combined total of 81lbs. The giant babies have been brought together by the Chubby Hearts Foundation in an effort to save their lives.
Santiago Mendoza and Isabela Caicedo, both extremely overweight at 10 months, have been enrolled in a life-saving weight loss program before it’s too late.
Giant Colombian Babies Weight 81lbs Combined
These two babies are unbelievable in size.
At just 10 months old, Santiago and Isabela of Colombia, weigh a combined total of 81lbs. That’s at least 40lbs each, according to Daily Mail!
Thankfully, the Chubby Hearts Foundation has stepped in and hopes to get these two infants back down to a normal and healthy body weight within six months.
Salvador Palacio, pictured above with the overweight babies, is the director of the Chubby Hearts Foundation. The picture was inside their weight-loss clinic when the babies were admitted for treatment.
Oversized Baby’s Mother Could Not Feed Him Enough
Santiago’s mother claims that he became severely overweight starting at eight months. Eunice Fandino could not satisfy the infant’s insatiable appetite through breastfeeding, which is when the foundation stepped in to help save his life.
Isabel’s mother, Niyered Martinez, saw Santiago on the news, which is what prompted her to contact the Chubby Hearts Foundation for her daughter’s weight.
“In the first few months Isabela pestered me all the time – she didn’t sleep, she was just eating and eating,” the concerned mother told Daily Mail. “We started to try to regulate her food intake but she wasn’t losing any weight.”
Hopefully these two babies are able to get back to a normal weight soon like the foundation promised!
