With a star-studded introduction by notable celebrities such as Kanye West, Lindsay Lohan, and Jared Leto himself, 30 Seconds to Mars took the stage for a touching performance of their song, “City of Angels.”

Each member of 30STM was stationed on a different platform in front of multiple giant screens that continuously showed beautiful shots of some of L.A.’s well-known attractions.

In between verses, more celebrities such as Shaun White and Selena Gomez also appeared, each one sharing a different take on their home — Los Angeles.

There were also a few clever clips from the faux-celebrities such as Superman and a Michael Jackson impersonator.

The touching ballad pays tribute to Los Angeles, with lyrics such as: “I am home. One life, one love, the City of Angels.”

“Who knows where I would be if I didn’t come to L.A.?” Jared’s brother Shannon tells the camera. “Probably locked up or dead.”

Jared Is Excited For 30STM’s New Album

We were able to catch up with Jared at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, and of course we asked about 30STM’s upcoming new album.

“I think this new album for us has been a breakthrough of sorts,” Jared explained to HollywoodLife.com about the band’s new music. “It’s kind of put us on a different path and I think shattered a lot of expectations. So that’s really fun.”

Awesome! We definitely can’t wait to hear ALL of the new music 30 Seconds to Mars releases!
